Ketomaf
Composition:
Each film coated tablet of Ketomaf contains:
Ketoprofen …………………………………… 100 mg.
DESCRIPTION:
Ketomaf is an aryl carboxylic acid derivative. It is one of (NSAIDs) group with anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. It inhibits PG synthesis. Ketomaf enters the synovial fluid and remains there at higher levels than in plasma after – 4 hrs. from oral administration. Ketomaf also can cross the placental barrier.
INDICATION:
Long term treatment of the following:
– Chronic inflammatory rheumatic disease e.g.: rheumatoid arthritis.
– Ankylosing spondylitis or related syndromes.
– Reiter’s syndrome and psoriatic arthritis, certain. painful, incapacitating forms of arthrosis.
– Dental and gum pain.
Short term symptomatic treatment of acute exacerbations of the following:
– Non-articular rheumatism (acute painful shoulder, tendonitis, ….).
– Arthrosis.
– Microcrystalline arthritis.
– Radiculalgia.
– Severe low back pain.
DOSAGE:
Initial dose:
3 tablets / day in 3 divided doses.
Maintenance dose:
1-2 tablets / day in one or two divided doses.
Storage Conditions:
– Keep the medicine in a dry place at a temperature below 30 °C.
– Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
– Protect the medicine from direct sunlight.
– Do not use Ketomaf tablets after expire date.
