Each film coated tablet of Cipomaf contains:

Ciprofloxacin ………………………………………….. 500mg

(As Ciprofloxacin HCl)

DESCRIPTION:

Ciprofloxacin is a broad-spectrum anti-infective agent of the fluoroquinolone class. Ciprofloxacin has in vitro activity against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms. The mechanism of action of quinolones, including ciprofloxacin, is different from that of other antimicrobial agents such as beta-lactams, macrolides, tetracyclines, or aminoglycosides; therefore, organisms’ resistant to these drugs may be susceptible to ciprofloxacin. There is no known cross-resistance between ciprofloxacin and other classes of antimicrobials. Notably the drug has 100 times higher affinity for bacterial DNA gyrase than for mammalian.

INDICATIONS:

Cipomaf Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

• Treating bacterial infections.
• Stomach infection.
• Infections after surgery.
• Brain infection.
• Blood infection.
• Lung infection.
• Bones infection.
• Antibiotic associated colitis.
• Intestinal infection.

DOSAGE:

The recommended dosage is 1 tablet taken every 12 hours or as directed by the physician.

Storage Conditions:

– Keep the medicine in a dry place at a temperature below 30 °C.

– Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.

– Protect the medicine from direct sunlight.

– Do not use Cipomaf tablets after expire date.
